What stocks does Trump own?

The President's holdings are listed in his annual financial disclosure, OGE Form 278e. It gives each asset with a value range, not an exact amount, as of the end of the year it covers. Trades during the year appear on separate Form 278-T reports. As of 31 October 2026, the latest annual report in OGE's collection is dated 1 July 2026.

The annual report

The President files a Form 278e each year by 15 May, covering the year before (5 CFR 2634.201). A filer can get an extension. OGE posts the reports of the President and the Vice President as PDF files. The report dated 1 July 2026 covers calendar year 2025.

It lists each asset held for investment or to produce income that was worth more than $1,000 at the end of the year, such as shares, bonds, funds and stakes in companies. It lists income from those assets above $200, and also debts, outside positions and agreements. The OGE disclosure guide describes every part of the form.

Values as ranges

The law sets the value ranges a filer uses (5 U.S.C. 13104(d)(1)). Income from an asset has its own ranges, from up to $1,000 to more than $5,000,000.

RangeValue of the asset
A$15,000 or less
B$15,001 to $50,000
C$50,001 to $100,000
D$100,001 to $250,000
E$250,001 to $500,000
F$500,001 to $1,000,000
G$1,000,001 to $5,000,000
H$5,000,001 to $25,000,000
I$25,000,001 to $50,000,000
JMore than $50,000,000

An asset in range J can be worth $51 million or $5 billion. Adding up the ranges gives a span, not a figure, so this site does not add them.

Form 278-T: trades during the year

The President also reports each purchase, sale or exchange of securities worth more than $1,000 on a Form 278-T, within 30 days after notice of the trade and no later than 45 days after it (5 U.S.C. 13105(l)). Trades by a spouse or dependent child count. Each trade shows the date, the asset, whether it was a purchase or a sale, and a value range. As of 31 October 2026, the latest 278-T for the President in OGE's collection is dated 8 October 2026.

What the forms do not show

  • The exact value of a holding, or the price paid for it.
  • What the President owns today. The annual report shows the end of the year it covers; the 278-T reports show trades after that, with a delay of up to 45 days.
  • Holdings in a qualified blind trust. For such a trust a filer reports the income range, not the assets (5 U.S.C. 13104(f)).
  • Bank accounts, money market funds and US Treasury securities, which stay off the reports (OGE instructions).
